Joshua S. Oduyemi is Sillicon Valley Venture Capitalist, the Founder, Managing partner and Executive Chairman of Sheatrust Capital. He directs Sheatrust Capital ’s investment strategy and decisions, governance and investor relations. Mr. Joshua sits on the Investment Committees for Sheatrust Capital, Foundation, Endeavor and Perennial Funds and serves as a member of Sheatrust Capital’s Executive Committee, the firm’s governing and decision-making body for matters affecting its overall management and strategic direction, and Private Equity Management Committee, the firm’s decision-making body for matters affecting Sheatrust Capital’s overall private equity platform. Sheatrust Capital currently manages equity assets under management of over $28 billion and oversees a portfolio of more than 40 enterprise software, data and technology-enabled companies that employ over 20,000 people worldwide. Since Sheatrust Capital’s inception, Mr. Joshua has supervised over 380 completed transactions representing more than $100 billion in aggregate transaction value.

Early Life and Career

Born in Lagos, Nigeria to the family of Mr. Johnson and Dorcas Oduyemi, Mr. Joshua trained as an engineer at Delta State University, earning his B.s in Mechanical Engineering. Following his M.sc program coastal engineering and port development from UNESCO-IHE and petroleum engineer from university of Houston, TX.
 
Mr. Joshua worked at Schlumberger as assistant vice president, he later joined Halliburton as Senior officer in project and investment portfolio of the company, revering Norway and Aberdeen, UK, Nigeria.  he executed and advised on over $60 billion in merger and acquisition numerous projects of Schlumberger NLG, activity.

Mr. Joshua is philanthropic and has donate more than $6 million to charity and humanitarian organization.

Mr. Joshua have achieved business connection around the globe in Asian, middle east, Africa, including North American (USA & Canada), his works have received recognition and numerous awards both locally and internationally from numerous entities.
 

In 2011, Mr. Joshua founded Mash Equity partners now sheatrust capital, to invest in businesses that develop and use technology, software and data to promote economic equity, ecological responsibility and diversity and inclusion for the prosperity of all. Mash Equity achieves its mission of creating opportunity through the power of technology by using a variety of private equity, permanent capital, credit and public equity investment strategies.

As one of the growing experts on investing in the software and technology industry in the America, Europe and Africa, Mr. Joshua has been invited to speak about entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership and related topics at a variety of venues.

Mr. Joshua is the founding director and President of the Mayflower Recovery Foundation a nonprofit organization that provide help trained young entrepreneur to growth, provide shelter and water facilities to poor African country and in part of Asian which is dedicated to preserving the African experience, safeguarding human rights, providing music education, preserving the environment while promoting the benefits of the outdoors, and sustaining critical black values. 

Mr. Joshua is the board member of Landhoven Energy an independent private oil & gas company with exploration in 10 oversea countries. he also the Chairman board of director of SheaTrust Capital that merge with Mash Equity Partners in 2016.

In 2010, Mr. Joshua donate $1.5 million through his organization to Haiti Earthquake Crisis,  to support and build communities where children and family can grow & thrive , among many other philanthropic activities.
